Who doesn't like brownies? I have been making these brownies with the same recipe for about 5 years. My sister in law shared this with me, God bless her. My daughter asks me to make a dessert on every weekend. This time she wanted a black (chocolate) cake rather than the white vanilla cake I made earlier. Its a quick and easy recipe of brownie to wow ur friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • For the brownie frosting
  • 3 tbsp softened butter
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

  • 1Preheat oven to 180 deg celcius and prepare the baking tray. Beat together all the ingredients with a hand mixer or a kitchen aid.
  • 2The consistency of the mixture would be thin and flowing easily into the baking tray.
  • 3Bake for about 45 mins or more till done.
  • 4For the frosting, beat together all the ingredients except milk.
  • 5Add milk one tbsp at a time till the desired consistency is reached.
  • 6Pour the frosting over the warm brownies. Enjoy!
